Kettlebells Transformed My Life!

From the start of my career as a fitness professional, kettlebells have always fascinated me. I got the opportunity to dabble in them a little bit with a former coworker at another gym for a short time and loved it. But things change, and we both moved on so I let it go.

A lot of time passed but eventually found my way into the amazing ecosystem I have now at my current gym where I met some amazing people. After about a year, I noticed the physio therapist I worked alongside every day playing with the kettlebells and learned he had a certification in them. My interest peaked again, so I asked if he would teach me and from that moment my life changed for the better! Allan has been an amazing mentor and friend who keeps making all my dreams happen, pushing me, inspiring me, challenging me to go even bigger with my dreams and makes me feel I can achieve anything and showing unconditional support and being there every step of the way. He went through it all with me from bodywork to corrective exercise to get me using my muscles efficiently to strength and conditioning learning a new skill. He gave me the knowledge and tools to succeed at getting the kettlebell certification I wanted to achieve. I have achieved so much growth and so grateful for this journey.
Kettlebell training has built up my confidence, my strength, my drive, my resiliency, and just gives me joy. I have never achieved such a transformation before until I picked up a kettlebell in body and mind. It has brought me back to who I am and where I want to be. It has not only made me stronger in the gym but also in life. I have found my dream and my passion to chase and haven’t looked back. It has given me purpose and strength I didn't know I had.
I initially went into training thinking I couldn't perform a certain movement due to shoulder issues but it was that movement I needed to lean into. The kettlebell snatch has only made my shoulders stronger and more stable.
I love my body again, love my life, and love the people I get to share this journey with.

-endurance for cross country phase of eventing
-anything seems possible
-better rider for my horse
-More balanced over fences
I am amazed at how kettlebell training has improved my riding tremendously.
Being competitive in equestrian sports is something i greatly enjoy and kettlebells really improved my riding, especially jumping. I have so much better form, balance, and stability in the saddle as well as the endurance to be in the saddle for hours riding multiple horses in this Arizona heat.
Finding movement you enjoy is so important!
